Twitter streams from ad:tech London
I spent the last couple of days (September 22/23) observing some of the insights people were sending around from ad:tech London on Twitter. I find Twitter to be a truly valuable tool for research and observations and if you’re not using it I urge you to start ‘listening’ to conversations.
There’s no order on this, just ones I felt were interesting or insightful. I thought there would have been a lot more people sharing insights to be honest, but it really came down to a handful of people. I guess this fits with the thinking that only one in four/five people are active content creators? Not sure.
Also, I wasn’t there myself so I can’t vouch for whether this is a representative overview of key points. Hope you find it useful.

Nielsen also gave lots of mobile marketing stats in their mobile marketing seminar yesterday, including a surprising one: iPhone users only make up 2% of the UK mobile market
was very insightful and has certainly influenced us ….

It’s a very surprising one isn’t it. iPhone app-related strategies just seem to be everywhere, but yet iphone penetration is so small. You might find this Nielsen research on smartphone adoption of use as well.
